TUNDISH HEATERS AND DRYERS
Transtech Tundish Preheaters and Dryers are Oil, Gas or Dual Fuel fired heavy duty energy efficient and cost effective units, covering a wide range of Tundish in the Steel & Ferro Alloys Industries. The design of heating hood, its movement & the burner are based on years of experience in combustion, heating & drying system and adaptation of appropriate technology for such application.
In order to improve product qualities at the start and end of continuous casting, Transtech Tundish Heating System or Tundish Heater offer superior performance to prevent the temperature drop of molten steel, reduce surface defects of rolled stainless steel.
Systems are offered as vertical firing with either Hydraulic or Electro-mechanical drives to lift the heater cover clear of the Tundish. Heaters can be designed as multi-burner units to match 'stream' requirements and are individually customized to meet tundish layouts and dimensions.Heaters are offered both as 'full cover' or partial 'pod' design to match custom cover configurations.
Temperature set-points can be precisely and reliably met with the use of the programmable temperature controller
Transtech Dual Fuel Burner, the heart of the unit, is specially designed for the system and owing to the design a regulated, slow heating rate can be achieved.

SEN PRE-HEATERS
The submerged entry nozzle (SEN) is used to transport the molten steel from a tundish to a mould. The main purpose of its usage is to prevent oxygen and nitrogen pick-up by molten steel from the gas. Furthermore, to achieve the desired flow conditions in the mould. Transtech offers high efficiency portable or fixed SEN preheaters. They are single or multiple burner fired according to requirement.
TUNDISH COOLERS
Tundish Coolers are used to cool down Tundish with vertical axial fans mounted on frames which are made to match Tundish layouts and size. Tundish Coolers are generally hung from hook or crane and placed over Tundish.
